LEARNING RETENTION RATE

 

Original research done by Edgar Dale shows that the effectiveness of learning or the learning retention rate based on the learning experiences and the media that was used for the instruction is shown in the following table (Dale’s cone -pdf,gif). From Dale's research, additional studies were performed by theNational Training Laboratory Institute for Applied Behavioral Science and many other universities researchers.
